Description
Overview
5-Amino-1MQ is a small molecule inhibitor of NNMT (nicotinamide N-methyltransferase), an enzyme that consumes SAM and reduces NAD+ precursor availability in fat tissue. By blocking NNMT, 5-Amino-1MQ effectively reduces the metabolic efficiency of fat cells, making them less able to store energy, while simultaneously increasing cellular NAD+ levels. Animal studies show significant fat mass reduction without muscle loss, improved endurance, and metabolic enhancement.
